Rona

Building on the new tradition of Live Cinema, a live video camera onstage visually narrates and reframes the narrative in real time, while also providing intimate views of the object-based toy theatre. Devised in ensemble, Rona is the story of a young girl’s imagination as resistance against a fascist regime. Visual metaphor, invites the audience to imagine and co-create the dark fantasy realm our protagonist discovers behind a waterfall— one in which she is the long-lost Princess of the Moon.
